We've been looking for a larger home for Nibbler for a few weeks now. Not being able to find one we figured why not build her a graham cracker house. Not only was it fun to make, but I wouldn't have to feed her as she could just eat the house. ;) Ours is the left house and tree. The right is my sister's and her friends.

Just kidding! We were lucky enough to be offered a free tank, stand, and light fixture from the wanted ad we posted on craigs list. It's the same footprint of a 40 gal breeder tank just not as tall. Works out perfectly. Although we might swap it with the gecko tank (40 gal breeder) when Nibbler gets older so she doesn't climb out.

Grahm cracker houses? Now I got the munchies ;D
Is that regular tiles on the floor of he tank or linoleum? Looks good.

They are linoleum tiles. We had originally used them in the gecko tank. However due to the under tank heat pads and the fact that the linoleum tiles are self stick I was worried about odors from the hot adhesive. We went with ceramic tiles in the gecko tank, but I figured these would work great in the bearded dragon tank.

I was the worried one, you thought I was over reacting, and I suggested them for the bearded tank, as I didn't want to waste tons of paper towels.

Nice score on the free tank! That's a nice one...looks like a 30 breeder to me...12" high. When Nibbler moves out, save the tank for corals!

I would go with lineloum vs ceramic unless you have a tile saw to cut the ceramic tiles. You could probably get the store to cut them, but I found with the silicon tank seams you sometimes have to take a bit more off or cut the corner so they lay flat. The lineloum tiles you can cut with a utility knife. They cut even easier if you use a heat gun, a hair dryer would probably work as well, to heat the line you want to cut as this temporarily softens the tile.

Figured I'd post in here. Nibbler is up to 70 grams as of Tuesday. She's growing so fast now! And to think she was only around 15 when we got her in September at the MARS show. She's such a cutie, and just recently started eating small superworms. She comes and waits by her food dish in the morning for us to feed her.

Your bearded dragon is absolutely adorable. Enjoy her while she is small because they grow super fast.

I'm getting antsy for her to get bigger. I want her at a size that she can't fit in the dogs mouth, so maybe they can actually meet (it's only a toy poodle, so don't worry too much). I'm not sure what Alie would do. She shows a lot of interest in all the lizards. She will lay on the floor and watch the cresteds (they are on the lower level of the bearded tank).

She must love her reflection, or absolutely hate me taking pictures...I go for the second as she ran like crazy when the flash went off the first time.

She's really filled out there! Her colors are really great! Beesly does that too - generally when we're not in the room though - I always catch him standing up

How about a little treadmill for Nibbler? :P

She is a porker, only around 5 months and at 100g's. She eats like a pig, but still has a lot to grow.
