Nail trimming

I just finished my first solo nail trim ;D I found I can do it while she's floating in water. Does anyone else have tips if you have to do this without help?

Very good!! It's not always easy to get that done by oneself! After so many years of doing Zair's claws I can get him one side at a time any time of the day. After a bath is preferable, but since both tubs are non-functioning - I have to make do without the soak. I just take a foot and start snipping. Another good time to do this without a fight (though the claws won't be as soft) is to trim just before lights on or about an hour after lights off. They're cool enough to not put up much of a fight.
