"Gecko, Bearded Dragon, Iguana, or Snake Lover?"

dammit, haha I thought someone was giving away all of those! I was like 'oooh! bearded dragon!'

No just giving away the opportunity to participate. Honestly if I make a post called The Reptile File it will be flagged as spam in minutes. I've tried other methods of advertising and they don't work too well. I know a lot of the reptile keepers look on craigslist, so it is a good way to reach the right group of people.

That's where I saw it. I wasn't going to even peek. I knew I didn't need another forum to register to... :D.

It makes me laugh I haven't posted on craigslist in weeks and the first post I make you all pick it out within minutes. Part of me feels bad using it to advertise. I've done link exchanges, posted fliers, submitted the site to search engines, etc and just don't seem to get any response from them.

I'm not trying to build a 10's of thousand member forum. I just want to gain a few hundred more members to keep the forum active and the conversations diverse.

Instead of guess what the picture is I should make find the craigslist ad. ;)

I've made a links page and set out emails to the ones with links pages in hopes to get added to theirs. Only two or three responded. :(

I never realized how hard it is to promote a website.

I'm trying to buy new boa cages before the end of the year. I'll ask AnimalPlastics or Herpenclosures for link exchange depending on who I buy the cages from.
