Have fun! I love the pic of the emerald tree boa. This is probably my favorite all-time want as far as snakes go. Sure...they're not mostly a disply animal...but they are GORGEOUS!

I think they have been around for a long time, but the people who have them have kept it a secret. GTP enthusiasts know that they are pretty much only dealing with high-dollar animals, and as a result, plan their marketing very, very carefully.
Of course, its just my theory, but I have been going to reptile shows for years, and GTPs are always expensive. The BP morphs fall rapidly after 6 to 12 months of being on the market, but you can always expect to pay a pretty penny for a GTP. We saw several $3-4k leucistic balls yesterday and I remember when they were being listed on Bob Clark's site for $20k not even two years ago.

I remember seeing them in the $60k even before that...maybe 4-5 years ago. Several of us had drooled over the look...but were astounded by the cost..
