Didn't take. I'll get it figured out. And how come we can't delete our own posts? Might save on some clutter ;D

You tried it from "my documents". It doesn't work that way... ::).
We have deleting posts and option on our forum...and I've been wanting to change it if we can for awhile. We had one person who got angry and deleted all her posts in one thread...it was actually a good thread even though she didn't like it. We were left with holes of replies that no longer made any sense. The whole thread needed to be removed.
Well, how do I get it to work then ??? Oh, and I only wanted to delete my screw ups, I wouldn't go away mad and delete everything in a thread ;)

Quig you went picture posting happy yesterday and now you can't post one. ;) ;) You need to upload it to photobucket, imageshack, etc.
You can delete your own posts, just not the first post in a topic. If you delete the first post it will remove the entire topic. Although you would think it would know when the thread just has one post, but it can't distinguish the difference. The reason it is set like this is because one member deleted a whole thread that just should have had select posts removed. I had to extract certain posts from the backup and restore them.

How did you post the pics of you (that I can't see!!) in the other thread and you beastie pics? Didn't you use photobucket or one of the other photo hosting sites? That's what you need to do here, too.

Like them!!! I have one!! In my "Personal Photos" link it takes you to where she has her own album...which is in need of some serious updating! She's a Congo African Gray (CAG) surrender who's been with us for about 3 1/2 yrs. now. She's about 35 yrs. old. She will forever be a scruffy looking girl, but I love her anyway.

She's pretty even with her scruffyness. It gives her some character! That YC Macaw looks pretty from a distance too. I'd want to see more of that!

He was a hoot. He had the most devilish laugh...and would use it as soon as someone else in the house started laughing. He didn't talk a whole lot, but he did some. At night...and I' talking well after lights out...sometimes one of us would get up in the middle of the night for whatever reason and when we walked by his covered cage we would hear ever so faintly..."help me". He would hide inside my shirt and poke his head out like a little alien and then laugh. He would also hang on the front of my shirt while I would be doing chores and as I bent over to pick something up he would hang upside-down and throw his head way back. He was a lot of fun!
He was a real screamer though. And it was this reason we had to give him back after having him for 1 1/2 yrs to the director of the humane society. We were only keeping him for her because their family needed a break from him. Even in the upstairs he could damage your eardrums down stairs. This is no joke. He is the second yellow-nape I've ever kept and they are just loud birds. If you can tone them down...I don't think there is a more fun-loving bird... ;D

If you have any more pictures from when you had him I'd love to see them sometime. He looked like a real pretty bird. Gotta love them with their cute personality, wonder who he learned all that from! I still really want a bird sometime. Maybe and African Grey (Congo most likely) or possibly just a Quaker or Rainbow Lorikeet. Those 2 are some of my favorite. They are so pretty and have such fun personalities. The lorikeet I worked with at my old job would only let certain people hold him and I was one of the lucky few. He used to get so excited when I'd go in the back and would squak whenever I'd make a kissy noise. He never did this for anyone else either. He was just a lover! Now the other one was just nasty and tried to bite my ear off!
Ok, it worked this time ;D

I remember that. Still cracks me up when I see it. I'd love to teach a bird all those things!

that was great! I was just in a store where I kept thinking there was a computer talking and announcing things, but it was a bird... but i couldn't tell which bird because they had quite a few large birds that could have been speaking to me :)
I often hear voices when there are no birds present

I really did know someone who had voices in her head. She ended up being diagnosed with schizophrenia. She even had names for them. We would hear her argue with them every now and again... :o.
Here's Mutt:

1. & 2. Me and Mutt. He loved kisses!
3. Enjoying the outdoors. He was quietest outside. There was a lot to keep him entertained. Boredom was screaming.
4. He kept me company on the pc.
5. He LOVED his baths and mistings! He took a bath at least twice a day. Caroline (the CAG) only takes one when we vacuum... ::).
