Redtailboas.com and ball-pythons.net are a competition for people who are trying to create the most expensive morph EVER

I've been on several forums, and this is by far my favorite. We have a good mix of beginner and veteran keepers, and every level in between. I gotta say that 99% of our members are really dedicated to what they do, which is the best part.

You know what? I agree 100%...and I've been on forums and groups for a whole lot of years... ;). This forum looks good, easy to navigate, everyone has the best welfare of the animals in mind, levels of experience in the different species...and just good people. Only good things can happen with a forum with this kind of consideration... ;D

Thanks for all the great feedback! I'm amazed at how far The Reptile File has come in the few months it has been around. I want to thank each of you as well for the time and contributions you have made to the forum. Without them I would just have an empty good looking forum ;)

Yeah, I agree with all of the above :) This is my first forum ever.... plus i'm pretty new to the reptile world. Its really great to know i'm talking with a group of people who are open to both learning new stuff and sharing what they know.

Its also a great place to just chat about whatever too - as some of the "Off Topic" post threads have been becoing pretty popular recently.

I love this forum I have been a member of fauna, and a forum called monstersnakes but they are all children who "know it all" and if someone asks a question they rip them apart! >:(
That doesn't happen here and I tell all the people I deal with about this site! Thank you for giving the good people in the hobby a nice to place to talk and play! :)

I agree...Fauna is good for a few specific things, like checking up on a certain dealer or breeder, but there is absolutely no middle-ground of hobbyists. Either you are completely ignorant and not willing to learn, or you are a complete know-it-all who takes pleasure in ripping others apart.

I also try to check in during the day. Some days are really chatty, others - not so much. :)

But I agree, its nice to have something to read/look at/enjoy (whatever) other than boring work stuff sometimes.

I'm in and out almost 24/7 ;D Being retired (100% disabled) I got lots of time between regular house and kid stuff to pop in sporadically, and I do ;)
