I'm moving this to the classifieds section. Also adding your location would be a good idea. Are you giving the snake away for free?

I am located in Stella, NC and can ship the snake if needed. I would like to get $250 which would include for shipping.

I am willing to go down on the price to $175. I HAVE to find a new home for him ASAP! I have just moved and I do not have room for him anymore. Please, someone help me out. :(

It shouldn't be a problem to hold off for a couple days. I just hope there's a good answer at the end of it. I really need help on this one.

This snake found a good home! And he is gorgeous! The guy who has him LOVES this snake. And for a snake w/bluing eyes (getting ready to shed), had been shipped several hundred miles, and is in a new home...he is a true gentle giant. Me and dh got to hold him today. DHL got him there on a two day trek in one day! It seems if you put "LIVE SNAKE" on the package, the parcel gets moved along a little faster....

Be careful with DHL We just got out of a lawsuit with them for killing our snakes we were shipping. We were approved reptile shippers with them and our last two shipments with them died. The second package was an albino tiger retic the lady we shipped to said she opened it and the snake was crushed! The box was fine she took pics of it all (box and snake) And I called DHL flipping out and they had the balls to threaten me with a lawsuit saying they do not ship animals and if I sent a animal I was commiting mail fraud! This was two years ago, We since won and found out that the package with the retic was opened because the guy was going to steal the "stuff inside" (he read the proposed value on the box) and purposly killed the snake because he didn't like them and all because the guy didn't read the box, it was marked live snake!!! We use fed ex now and have not had any problems with them. Again Be careful with DHL they have their ups and downs Many people still use them but I won't. OH and I am glad to hear the boa found a good home! ;D

I'll keep that in mind black_phoenix. Thanx. I've never shipped a reptile...ever. This was a deal between the old and new owner. I wasn't even a middleman here. I was just the introduction chick...:-) I've heard things about all the carriers...so who do you really trust. For me...It's really a crap-shoot... :-\

It is sad that you can't trust anyone anymore :'(. Thats why I like delta dash they ship animals with NO problem. It is a little expensive though. >:(
