I have a couple extra males.

Male #1 has a small underbite, so I’ve priced him accordingly. However, he has more orange and a darker lavender color to him.

Male #2 is absolute perfection. He’s lighter than the other one.

What does CB stand for (in your requested trades)? Thanks :)

CB = Captive Bred, so this gecko was born and raised in captivity.

I don't mean to be rude but I believe that CB stands for Captive Born, whereas CBB stands for Captive Born and Bred.

Captive Born would be an individual that was born in captivity but who's parents were actually wild caught. Captive born and bred is an individual whose parents were captive born and then raised in captivity and generated offspring.

I think most people would rather learn what's right than you be afraid of offending them.

Those CB and CBB acronyms have always confused me as well.

I think it all depends on who you are talking to. I use the terms the way you stated them, but have seen others use it differently..

This industry can benefit from some uniformity...coming from myself I find that funny but it's true.

Also the more I come to this thread i'd really like to get 1.2.0 (is the first one males or females? if it's females then it's 2.1.0) of these guys. They're really cool and almost half the size of Leos.

MrsWTownsend, I frequently see CB and CBB used interchangably. And many people use CB to stand for "cabrive bred".

For me, it doesn't much matter which (if it's CB or CBB), so long as I'm NOT receiving CH or WC animals. I really don't care. But if someone is really being nitpicky they should just ask. So long as that egg my animal was hatched from was not taken from the wild and my animal was not taken from the wild, I'm good.

Oh yeah that's right, I forget about the "Captive Hatched" term (which is identical to Captive Born in all reality) so perhaps I am wrong... Now I'm not sure anymore. :o
