They looks like they are a larval form of something or another, just no idea what.

I found them in my cricket keeper. They must of hjitch hiked in with the new batch of crickets.

I have those little guys too from time to time. They're some kinda little beetle larvae. That's all I know. I had some come in with the wax worms I got last.

My toads got to eat some when I was shaking crickets into their tank. They sure looked surprised after they ate one. Since I don't know if those are edible or not they aren't getting anymore.

When I asked the guy from wormman.com about them when they were in with my crix...he said the larvae was fine to eat...but the beetles they turn into have a pretty hard shell. I don't feed them and probably won't...but I thought I'd pass that along.

Those things are a pain in the rear. I get them with my crix too~ they lay eggs on the crickets and the larvea eat the dead cricket bodies. I've fed them to my turtles and my Pyxie frog when he was MUCH littler.

I've had problems with them transferring into my tanks and laying eggs/killing my feeders I put in. They are very prolific and will multiply in your tanks like a mother trucker (thank you Xander)~ before you know it the substrate is alive with these stupid things!

Lovely, I am hoping these things haven't already infested anything yet.
