Are crested geckos fun animals? A friend of mine used to keep Leopard geckos but had to get rid of them due to financial difficulties.

I find that crested geckos are more entertaining than leopard geckos. Mainly due to their ability to jump. Plus they have a good disposition. My crested gecko has never tried to bite where the leopard geckos you constantly have to watch.

Very true on the jumping and not biting. They are however a little more difficult to handle as adults, due to this nature. The only thing I dislike is how their tails will not grow back if they drop them, so you can't just pick them up, instead you must urge them onto your hand.
