we are going to the Catoctin Zoo because we don't have extra money to go to the MARS show and buy more snakes, hahahahaha.

we'll posts pics when we get back. they have albino cobras and rattlers :)

Have fun. The MARS show was neat. We picked up a beardie today, and I almost bought another leo but I'll be waiting until Chantilly to see if I find something else I like. He's so tiny though, probably only a little over a month. I'll be posting pics of it too.

ok... here is the first of 2 snake installments... these reticulated pythings were HUGE! i dunno how big, but there were 3 in this enclosure the two we could make out are pictured below:

The Normal Reti. Python...this snake looked to be about a foot in diameter - it appeared to have enjoyed a nice breakfast before we got there:

hey just iun case anyone is interested in checking out the zoo. Its in Thurmont, Maryland (just out of Fredrick Md and about 10 minutes south of Gettysburg, PA) Though it was the first time we went to the zoo, i've been going up to Thurmont almost half my life so if anyone ends up going, and is interested in other things around there to do, let me know. I nearly forgot to ask...How was the MARS show? The first two years it was absolutely huge, then the third year I went, it seemed to be a little smaller.
